In every single sector, the news about leadership is that we are in a crisis. Current leaders in the business, government and public sector are scared that the work that they have done will end with them. Have you read the articles that scream “After us, there are no leaders left“? You can call it leadership “deficit”, “gap” or “crisis”; it’s not real.
There are leaders and the chance to lead all around them. Are you ready to lead?
Much like you may want that promotion, you have to want to be a leader. It just will not happen any other way. It will take your commitment to learn and exercise leadership skills every day. Come to this interactive workshop to discuss how to:
- identify leadership opportunities in the workplace and in your community,
- hone your leadership skills; and
- step confidently into your leadership
This workshop is for professionals interested who are thinking about the leadership roles they currently have or will have in the future.
About the presenter: Ericka Hines
- I observe

- I create
- I connect
- I solve
My name is Ericka Hines, aka the socialchange diva. In my 14 years of experience, each of my jobs has had the same elements: identifying leaders, building up their knowledge and skills and helping them move their work and themselves forward. My work focuses mainly on leadership development, adult learning and presentation skills. I have worked on convenings and strategy sessions with leaders at all levels of the public sector and government including members of U.S. Congress, state leadership, executive directors , professionals and students. In my day job, I design and manage conferences, meetings and trainings for groups from 20 to 1000. Each of them built on the premise of providing an opportunity of the participant getting a chance to learn from field experts, themselves and their peers.
